Shoei RF-1400 Nocturne

The SHOEI RF-1400 is the latest generation in the prestigious lineage of premium full-face motorcycle helmets. Compact and lightweight in design, it has been evolved from its predecessor while maintaining these key attributes. The RF-1400 is SHOEI's lightest SNELL-approved full-face helmet, allowing emergency medical personnel to easily and safely remove the cheek pads from an injured rider's helmet.

Noise reduction is a key focus of the RF-1400's design. Advanced shell aerodynamics and an all-new, air-tight shield system work to reduce unwanted wind and road noises, providing a quieter riding experience without blocking the informative sounds of the road.

Ventilation performance has also been optimized through SHOEI's in-house wind tunnel testing. The relocation and addition of an air intake hole in the center/forehead vent has helped increase the volume of cooling air entering the helmet.

Comfort is a hallmark of the RF-1400, with its fully removable, washable, adjustable, and replaceable 3D Max-Dry Interior System II that dissipates sweat twice as fast as traditional nylon interiors. The RF-1400 features SHOEI's CWR-F2 shield, which combines a 2D outside surface with 3D technology inside for optimal visibility. The PINLOCK EVO fog-resistant system is also 10% larger for improved vision. The CWR-F2 Base Plate System has been completely redesigned to facilitate quicker, smoother shield changes, with a new shield adjuster mechanism providing easier and more precise tuning.

The helmet's shell is constructed using SHOEI's Multi-Ply Matrix AIM+ technology, meeting both SNELL M2020 and DOT safety standards. This hand-laid, interwoven design of fiberglass and lightweight high-performance fibers ensures exceptional protection.

The RF-1400 also features SHOEI's Emergency Quick Release System, allowing emergency medical personnel to easily and safely remove the cheek pads from an injured rider's helmet.
